​The collaboration between PATIO and the ceramist Carme Vicens extends over more than 20 years.

At this time, Carme has created in his workshop exclusive and customised collections generating a unique relationship between each piece of outdoor furniture and its accessories.

Carme Vicens is a Catalan ceramist and teacher with more than 30 years of experience. He currently has his workshop in the picturesque village of Salardú del Val'Aran.

She has participated in numerous art fairs and markets such as the Mercat d'art de Vielha where she is a regular. Lover of the Costa del Sol, she has participated in various art exhibitions in Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, Estepona and Cadiz.

Carme Vicens is above all an artisan. All her pieces are entirely handmade and therefore are unique and unrepeatable pieces.

In the author's words:

"The soul of each ceramic is the result of the harmonious relationship between design, technique and creativity, a process that brings together the four elements of nature: earth, water, air and fire. From here I visualise an idea and shape it in clay. I let myself go... And the fire finally transforms the material, melts the enamels by dressing the pieces, giving them colour and life."

Carme's primary source of inspiration is natural elements, such as leaves, trunks, water or the sky.

From the most remarkable landscapes to the smallest details inspirations, organic forms are always present in his work.

​The coloured enamels that she uses, resulting from her research of different formulas and colourant oxides, help her achieve intense and personal shades.

​Their formal simplicity and intense colour mainly characterise the pieces in the collection.

This year presents us as a novelty a line of ceramic trays with a leaf shape that perfectly complements the PATIO range of cushions.

So that, the combination allows you exciting compositions, as the pieces are available in three different colours -moss, white and aquamarine- and in two sizes -22 and 32 cms-.
