If we were asked right now that furniture can not be missing in any external space that is worthy, we would not hesitate even a second: the sun loungers and hammocks for terrace and garden. In recent years we have witnessed how garden loungers or pool hammocks have gone from being an expendable complement to becoming the star element of our outer space. The sun loungers and hammocks serve us as comfortable seats for a good chat after a better barbecue or as a place to rest after a relaxing swim in the pool. We can classify the loungers and hammocks according to the material in which it is manufactured or its morphology. Read on if you want to know the different types of hammocks and sun loungers that you can find in the market and choose the one that best suits your outdoor space. According to the material they’re made of. Wooden deck chairs. Wood is an organic element that always brings warmth where we place it. The wooden loungers and hammocks are not less if they need constant maintenance so that it does not fade or deteriorate. Wood is very sensitive to temperature changes and can even appear cracks on its surface. This phenomenon is known as "woodwork". To avoid this, it is convenient to dry and keep the sun loungers with protective covers whenever possible. The best wood for your outdoor lounger is made from teak. There are other more affordable alternatives such as acacia or iroko although they are less resistant. Plastic sunbeds.
Sun loungers of natural fibre or rattan.
Sun loungers of synthetic fibres. The chairs of synthetic fibres are made from artificial polymers that mimic the rattan while improving its performance. Care must be taken with high-plastic fibres, as they will deteriorate with sunlight even before natural fibres. Even if it requires a higher investment it is advisable to choose tested fibres. Although it requires a higher investment it is convenient to choose fibres tested against UV rays as viro or sunloop if we do not want to be buying loungers and hammocks every spring. Iron Sunbeds.
Aluminium sunbeds. Aluminium is the most widely used material in the manufacture of sun loungers and hammocks for the swimming pool. It is a lightweight material and easy to clean and maintain. Metal structures can be shaped in many different ways so they are very versatile to decorate our outdoor space. Aluminium loungers and hammocks are often combined with textilene fabrics to make them even lighter and more manageable. It is advisable to always ask if we have spare parts for these fabrics because eventually, we may need to replace them due to wear. Depending on its shape or characteristics. Folding hammocks. The sun loungers and folding hammocks are ideal for small spaces or when we have to move with them. They even fit in the trunk of the car so they are very advisable when we want to change outside space. Integer sunbeds.Unlike the previous ones are single-piece furniture so they can not be folded. The backrest is usually reclining in several degrees and there are with or without arms. As they take up a lot of space it is recommended that they be stackable and possibly have wheels. Daybeds. Daybeds are without a doubt the most iconic elements we can find on any terrace or garden. They are large and spectacular pieces that allow us a double use: as a sun lounger or as an outdoor sofa. Come to your nearest PATIO centre and discover the novelties we have prepared in hammocks and sun loungers. Together we will find the model that best suits your needs. Nobody told me all the types of sunbeds that are available out there, I thought there was just plastic, iron and wood! Last ones I bought for my appartment in Sotogrande were not very durable and hard to mantein. I will take in consideration your information for my next spring purchase.

Aluminium sunbeds are the best, I already bought sunbeds from you several years ago for our Estepona's flat and we are pleased with the quality and the information you gave us. You also sold us a cover to protect them and they look like new even after so many years.
