European safety standards for outdoor furniture

One of the quality parameters governing our PATIO-Top Garden Furniture collection is the furniture's durability and safety.

Each seat model of the NS INTERNATIONAL outdoor furniture collections has been subjected to rigorous testing of quality and ergonomics in internationally approved laboratories. So our customers only take care to enjoy it.

All our seating units are certified according to European furniture safety standards EN581-1, EN581-2 and EN 102, which replace and upgrade to standard EN581-2:2009.

The tests to which each model is subjected include, among others, the following tests:

Absence of sharp edges, sharp edges and dangerous parts.
Rear and side roll-over resistance.
Backrest and extended pressure seat resistance.
Backrest and seat resistance to impact.

Test to high end outdoor furniture in Spain

These certificates are approved by the Spanish Association of Standardization and Certification (AENOR), an entity dedicated to the development of standardization and certification (N+C) in all industrial and service sectors.

Thanks for the information, it is of great help for those of us who do not know these issues very well and buy any outdoor furniture without knowledge, just for its style. I have no doubts, I will go visit you as soon as I can. I need a corner sofa with a table, the ones I have have not lasted a year.
