In PATIO we love the outdoor life. Enjoy a barbecue in our garden, take a sunbathe in our pool hammocks, share a family meal in our outdoor dining room or count the stars lying on the porch sofas: are many unforgettable moments we spend in our outer space.
We cannot ignore that to enjoy ouroutdoor space it is necessary to preserve the environment. At PATIO we are fully aware of the problems arising from climate change and the effects of greenhouse gas.
That is why we have taken some measures to help preserve our nature and reduce our environmental footprint. So that we and future generations can continue to fully enjoy our terraces, gardens, penthouses, balconies, patios and porches.
Keep reading if you want to know what measures we have been carrying out for a long time.
What is climate change?
Climate change has now become one of humanity’s major concerns. The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that this would be the cause of 250,000 deaths between 2030 and 2050, as many diseases are related to temperature and rainfall, such as heat stress or malnutrition.
Melting poles, deforestation, increasing intensity of weather events, loss of flora and fauna... are just some of the most pressing dangers facing humanity if we do not make progress towards sustainable development of our production and consumption habits.
